Our Mission
Automation with judgment built in.
Most growing businesses don't have an ambition problem. They have a systems problem. As they grow, manual processes become bottlenecks, institutional knowledge lives in people's heads, and the founder is stuck in the weeds of operations they should have handed off months ago.
Why Jidoka?
Jidoka is a Japanese manufacturing principle — it means “automation with a human touch.” In Toyota's production system, machines stop the moment something goes wrong so a human can intervene. We named our company after this idea because it captures exactly what we believe: the goal of automation is not to remove humans from the process — it's to free humans to focus on the decisions that actually require judgment.
What we build
We design and implement the operational infrastructure that growing businesses need to scale without chaos. That means SOPs and workflows, internal tools, AI-augmented processes, and the documentation that makes all of it trainable, auditable, and transferable.
We don't sell software. We build the operating layer underneath your business — the connective tissue between your team, your tools, and your clients.
Who we work with
We work with founder-led businesses that are growing faster than their systems can handle — typically in the $500K–$5M revenue range, with a team of 3–20 people. Our clients are sharp, ambitious, and time-constrained. They don't need a consultant to tell them what's broken. They need someone to build the fix.
Our commitment
Every engagement starts with an honest operational diagnostic — no upselling, no vague deliverables, no retainers for their own sake. We map your actual bottlenecks, propose a scoped plan, and deliver systems your team can run without us. That's the goal: to make ourselves unnecessary as fast as possible.
